CommunEcos is a nonprofit organization devoted to bringing people into connection with a sustainable and socially just life. It seeks to achieve these objectives in ways that are both practical and imaginative. Its Recyclique cooperative and shop help generate the revenue that makes this work possible, in addition to public donations.

Our 501-(c)-(3) status was approved by the IRS in Jan. 2013.  All donations are tax deductible. We are happy to provide receipts to all donors.

In February 2015 we bought the house at 2811 Hillsborough Rd., Durham, where we have been located with help from many friends and supporters.  Special thanks to our large donors and peer -to-peer lenders: especially Jim Senter, Don Nonini, Sandy Smith-Nonini, Jonathan Sheline, Ruth Backstrom and the Triangle Community Foundation (which sent us an unsolicited $1000 donation!).  We also have many other donors and supporters who have lent us funds, time and expertese!

At this time, we don’t take online donations. Please return the form below along with your donation either through postal mail: CommunEcos, 2030 Englewood Ave., Durham, NC 27705 or  email the form (address below) and bring the donation to Recyclique, at 2811 Hillsborough Rd., Durham, NC 27705.

Thank you SO much!
